--- Defenseman Paul Postma has posted six goals and 12 points in his last nine outings after recording 11 points (5G, 6A) in his previous 39 contests; the 21-year-old ranks second among league rookie blueliners and shares fifth overall among AHL defenseman with 11 goals in 48 games this season.
--- Chicago surrendered a power-play goal for the first time in four games on Sunday; the Wolves rank eighth in the league with an 84.5 efficiency rating on the penalty kill (213 of 252).
--- Left wing Andrew Kozek became the 12th player on the Wolves this season to reach double-digits in goals on Sunday; Chicago had 11 players score 10 or more goals last year.

--- The Wolves saw a 4-1 lead slip away but managed to come away victorious after an eight-round shootout with a 5-4 victory over the Lake Erie Monsters at the Allstate Arena
--- Left wing Andrew Kozek notched two goals in regulation, while right wing Spencer Machacek added three assists
--- Goaltender Peter Mannino kicked out 17 of 21 shots he faced in regulation and overtime and stopped five of eight attempts in the shootout

--- Chicago defenseman Ivan Vishnevskiy broke a 1-1 tie 7:25 into the third period to give the Wolves a 2-1 win before 13,024 fans at the Allstate Arena
