Texas cornerback Tony Hurd Jr. backed out of his verbal to Notre Dame.
Tony Hurd Jr. seems to be a casualty of the Notre Dame coaching changes. Hurd had committed to Notre Dame, but told an official at Rivals.com that he has decommited.
According to Hurd, new Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly has not contacted him since taking the position.
The Missouri City, Texas product is listed at 5' 9", 184 lbs. He is currently ranked as the 48th best cornerback in the nation by Rivals.com.
This is the second confirmed decommitment for the Irish since their coaching change. Five-star DE Chris Martin changed his mind last week and gave a verbal to Cal.
