CHICAGO - Starting with Saturday's game against fourth-ranked Syracuse, the DePaul athletics department is providing fans a chance to help with relief efforts following the earthquake in Haiti.
At every men's basketball home game for the rest of the season, there will be booths at each entrance to Allstate Arena with information regarding the Haiti Project (www.haitiproject.org). There will also be an opportunity to win autographed team basketballs through the purchase of raffle tickets. All funds raised through the raffle will benefit the Haiti Project. This is a joint effort by DePaul University and the DePaul athletics department.
Saturday's game against the Orange is also part of Hall of Fame Weekend at DePaul. Festivities are scheduled throughout the weekend including the Hall of Fame Banquet on Saturday evening and the women's basketball game against Marquette on Sunday afternoon.
