Sam Fuld got a second chance to sign with the Cubs in 2004 after batting .273 in 60 games in his senior season at Stanford. He was originally drafted in the 24th round of the 2003 draft and was a 10th round pick in '04. Fuld was a two-time All-American with the Cardinal and a Baseball America Preseason All-American entering his senior season.
